About Modified Music

The Company

Modified Music is a Minnesota based company that produces, manufactures, sells and distributes music CDs, download cards, and Classic Holiday DVDs all across the United States.

While Modified Music specializes in Christmas music, our finished library includes health & wellness selections and everything from Smooth Jazz to Classical Piano. Most of these selections are performed and produced by Mogul Music and appear for sale on this website in the form of CDs and downloads.

The Music

All Modified Music CDs are sold as 2 CD sets in order to add value for consumers and increase the retail ring. They are performed and produced locally by Mogul Music. The musicians are a collection of Emmy Award winning and Grammy nominated artists who score movies, TV shows and have produced much of the original music for the “Lifescapes” kiosks in Target stores. Kenni Holman, who tours regularly with Doc Severinsen, performs most of the sax and woodwind music. Mr. Severinsen has called him the best jazz sax player in the country. Most of the music (except as noted) is instrumental in order to broaden its appeal.

All of the 20+ Holiday titles listed below are finished and ready to go in the form of 2 CD sets. We have several attractive cover selections for each, or we can customize any cover artwork with your visuals and/or company logo. Retailers, non-profit organizations and businesses have ordered our custom CDs for sale, as gifts, premium items, etc.

Modified Music retails holiday CDs October thru December in all Office Depot stores, Macys, Casey’s, Best Buy and others.

Cost Structure

We can deliver any of these two CD sets in quantities of at least 1,000 and customize them at quantities over 5,000. They are typically retailed from $6.99 to $9.99. All of our CDs come in a jewel case with four color front and back covers, four color screening on the CDs, shrink wrapped and packaged in a 16 count corrugated on-counter display. Large freestanding displays are also available, but add to the wholesale cost of each CD. All CDs can be quickly manufactured domestically to minimize inventory requirements and assure an ample supply.

Toys for Tots Association

Many retailers and organizations like to contribute to worthy causes and Modified Music is the official licensed music and entertainment fundraising partner for Toys for Tots. Our pricing structure provides a good margin to retailers and leaves room for a generous Toys for Tots donation. The minimum donation required by Toys for Tots is 5% of the retail price.
